๐Ÿ’ญ my notes The most special plant in the collection. It belonged to my great-grandmother, passed down to my grandma, and now coming to me. Family lore: it was a cactus growing on a trash can lid. Three generations of survival.
๐Ÿ’ง waterSparing. Soak, then bone-dry. It survived on a trash can lid, so the danger is overwatering, not neglect.๐Ÿชจ soilGritty, fast-draining cactus mix๐Ÿพ petsSpines, not poison. Most true cacti are non-toxic to Cinder; confirm once the species is known.๐Ÿ“ originFamily heirloom โ€” great-grandmother's cactus, passed down through grandma, now coming to Neal. ๐ŸŒฟ identification

A cactus (family Cactaceae), species to be determined once it's in hand. Snap a clear shot of the body, the ribs/spines, and any flower, and I'll work out what it is.
